Staff Band Annual Luncheon

The Staff Band annual luncheon was held during commissioning weekend on the Sunday, and was graced with the presence of the Territorial Leaders, Commissioners’ Steve and Judy Hedgren. This was not only a time of fellowship around the table, but also a time to reflect on the events of the past season. Stephen Ditmer provided a video presentation of the recent tour to Ireland and London. This was also a time to thank spouses for their support of band members.

Al Avery and Peter Vaughan were both recognized for 25 years of service and were inducted into the Frank Fowler Fellowship.
This was also a sad day as we said farewell to two long serving and faithful band members,Al. Avery having served for 25 years, and Kathleen Steele for 11 years, the last 5 being as Band Secretary. They will both be missed.
