As 2015 came to a close the New York Staff Band has had to make some minor personnel changes due to recent departures.  Richard “Dick” Baker on Bb Tuba has retired from the band 20 years of service after first joining the band in 1994. He has been an invaluable member of the tuba section and chorus and is truly one of the greats in the history of the New York Staff Band. Dick will replaced on Bb Tuba by Aaron Harris who has been playing Eb Tuba with the band.

Jason Collier joined the band in the fall of 2015 but will be stepping out of the band since his new job will not allow him to continuing playing in the band.  Although his time with the band has been short, he has made a mark with his great playing and his ability to sing and play piano as well.  Jason will be replaced temporarily by Matthew Hodgson who is employed at Territorial Headquarters and attends the Montclair, NJ Corps.
