The New York Staff Band welcomes you to participate in Future All-Stars 2021. This year will look a little different, but participants will still have the opportunity to play along (online) with the NYSB as well as participate in devotions, fellowship / fun and games, and receive brass masterclasses from:
Cornets: Philip Smith (Professor in the Arts – Trumpet at University of Georgia, Former Principal Trumpet of the New York Philharmonic)
Horns: Sheona White (Former Principal Horn at Brighouse and Rastrick Band, YBS Band)
Euphonium / Baritone: Philip Broome (Principal Euphonium at West Point Band)
Trombones: Dudley Bright (Former Principal Trombone at London Symphony Orchestra)
Tubas: Derek Fenstermacher (Tuba at New Jersey Symphony, Freelance)
Percussion: Jacob Slous (Jazz Performance Student at University of Toronto, Former Percussion at Canadian Staff Band, Future All-Stars Alum)
There are no auditions this year, and registration is open to ages 13 to 21. All you have to do is register below to save your spot. Participants under the age of 18 will have to fill out a parent/guardian consent form. The registration deadline is March 5. Sign up today!
