The Amsterdam Staff Band (ASB) of the Salvation Army in the Netherlands was founded in 1962. The Band consists of top musicians from all over the country, all of whom are active in a local Salvation Army Corps. All members interpret their musicality from their personal faith in God. The ASB is currently under the direction of conductor Olaf Ritman and is working hard on the highest possible standard in communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music.
